Al Shalloway's Journey as an Agile Thought Leader
I had a lot of fun interviewing a lean-agile thought leader and friend, Al Shalloway. Al is a humble, intelligent and passionate Agilist. He is best known for his insights on applying Lean theory to enterprise software development.
In this interview, I ask Al Shalloway about how he became so passionate about Lean-Agile thinking and what about it continues to motivate him after 20+ years. I also get his thoughts on SAFe and the benefits as well as potential pitfalls that practitioners should be aware of. From there we go on to discuss documentaries and books that have influence him and that he recommends to peers and clients. Finally, we discuss his vision for his consulting firm, Net Objectives.
